Doing Aliya's makeup for her engagement shoot was a breeze because she's naturally beautiful. I kept her makeup clean and polished, defining and enhancing her natural features. I used Arena eyeshadow on her eyelids, a colour that I overlooked for awhile but just recently rediscovered and love! It's a warm peachy beige with a slight sheen - perfect for those who still want a bit of shimmer without the frosty look. Texture eyeshadow in the crease to create some depth and bring Arena out. I warmed up her cheeks with one of my favorite mineral blushes - Warm Soul to give her that nice sunkissed glow and finished her look with a peachy-pink lipstick called Fanfare.

Aliya & Chris' Engagement Shoot
I know Aliya because she use to be one of my clients at MAC, she would come in occasionally to see me to have her makeup done for special events and parties. A few years passed that I didn't see Aliya and recently one evening we ran into eachother when we were both at the same restaurant for dinner. She told me that she was getting married this December and having her engagement photos taken in the next couple of weeks, she was trying to find me because she liked the way that I did her makeup the best. What a compliment! I was so flattered : )
